We just started singing this song at our church and it has quickly become the theme song for us. For it echoes a beckoning that must be responded to.

Like Peter, we hear the calling and know we can’t stay where we felt so secure before–back to the former way of living–the predictable, the known, the safe, where all must be calculated, weighed in the balance, categorized, understood and controlled by what we see.

No, against that fear that would rises up we must recklessly, illogically, irrationally step out into these waters–into the mystery, into the very heart of God.
